Flea market – Leer

On one of the warmest days so far this spring, we took a trip to the flea market in Leer.  We are starting to recognize some of the vendors at the Flohmaxx markets and saw the dutch women who sold us the tins from last week.

I just can’t get enough tins and baskets and there is an endless supply of farming equipment at the markets here.

This weeks find includes two new containers, one of which is strikingly similar to Restoration Hardware schoolhouse wastebasket.  The wire basket was traditionally used for storing potatoes and the black bin for coal.  I also found some German Easter cards that got packed away with Easter decorations just yesterday.

The house looks empty and boring now! Any ideas for summer decorations? I guess we need to hit the markets in the Netherlands for flowers!
