Flohmarkt
Killing time at the Flohmarkt (Flea market) on a Sunday afternoon seemed like a great way to peek inside the homes of our new neighbors. The Nordseehalle in Emden was packed with all sorts of treasures. Everyone was there! There were families that had cleaned out their cupboards, collectors, video game sellers, and surprisingly a lot of Tupperware saleswomen.
We left, after puttering up and down 10 isles of treasure, with some linens and a tupperware bowl. About 30 Euro poorer than when we came. Some of these treasures are destined to my friend Sol’s sewing room where I know she will make something fantastic! Check out Sol’s wonderful creations at Lappesola.
